Our expert team in Shropshire uses a curated network of contacts and rigorous inspections to ensure only gold-standard examples make it to our showroom. We require complete serve records and scrutinise each car for mechanical integrity and cosmetic condition. Tools like the sun gun and paint depth gauge help us verify paintwork history, ensuing only vehicles that meet our exacting standards are selected. Structural repairs, use of panel filler, and odometer manipulation immediately disqualify a vehicle from selection as we strive to preserve original factory quality.
Each vehicle selected to be sold by Automotive Addiction must pass an extensive 120-point mechanical health check at one of our highly-respected model-specific tuning partners. Any maintenance that is required, mechanical defects that need rectifying or outstanding service items (including any consumable items that have less than 50% of six months remains of their functional lifespan) are completed or replaced at this stage. To ensure the cars we offer are the best, maintained, unabated examples available on the market, we also test for mileage correction, launch control counter, previous tunes and much more. Only once a vehicle has been verified to have clean bill of health can it undergo our meticulous cosmetic preparation process at our specialist detailing centre in Telford.
Our 60-hour detailing process ensures each vehicle achieves a ‘better-than-factory’ finish. It begins with a thorough deep cleanse, including a four-hour decontamination wash to remove all contaminants from wheels, arch liners, and engine bays, followed by rigorous pre-washing and clay bar treatment.
In our temperature controlled detailing studio, each vehicle undergoes up to 40 hours of multi-stage machine paintwork correction. This detailed process removes swirl marks, wash marring, and holograms using tailored polishing machines. We use refined techniques and products to ensure an unmatched, high-quality, sustainable finish that preserves the vehicle’s value, while also meticulously cleaning the interior and ensuring wheel arches and exhaust components are flawless.
