Big, bold and bombastic, but with performance and driving dynamics to rival all but the most exotic of supercars, the Porsche Cayenne turbo has always been right up there with the world’s most accomplished and fastest SUVs. Since its launch in 2003, its quirky looks may have mellowed into a more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design, but its capabilities certainly haven’t, with each generation offering yet more power, improved handling, and sharper responses.

This sublimely-presented 2018 (E3) model is the third and latest generation of Porsche’s flagship SUV, boasting revised exterior styling, lighting and technology, but most notably an vastly updated interior with a gigantic 12.3inch touchscreen display and glass look centre console in replacement for the button fest that was found in pre-2018 models.
The ante is upped even further when it comes to performance, as it has been equipped with a DMS Stage one engine calibration that raises peak power from 550PS and 770NM of torque, to a frankly ludicrous 700PS and 1000NM. This brute will complete the 0-62mph sprint in around 3.5 seconds with DMS’s power upgrade.
Combined with the unrestricted flow from the factory non-OPF exhaust system, this allows the brutal 4.0-litre, V8, bi-turbo engine to produce a bellowing soundtrack to match its prodigious shove.
As well as a potent powerplant, this stunning machine also benefits from over £15,000 of highly desirable factory optional extras, in addition to the range-topping specification that comes as standard with the Turbo badge. These include items such as a panoramic glass sunroof, rear axle steering, a suite of driver assistance aids, ionised four-zone climate control, soft-close doors, night vision assist, 360-surround view, Matrix LED headlights with PDLS Plus and 21in RS Spyder Design wheels tucked under body-coloured arch extensions.
As you can see from the pictures, the lustre of the mesmerising Moonlight Blue paintwork is flawless, an attribute which has no doubt been achieved by the fitment of £5,000 of XPEL self-healing paint protection film, that has been applied to the entire vehicle from new. But even this exquisite condition has been improved upon, as like all cars sold by Automotive Addiction, this example has been treated to an additional 40-hours of meticulous pre-sale preparation in our in-house detailing studio to ensure a truly jaw-dropping finish.
So if you’re looking for the ultimate expression of Porsche’s go-anywhere super SUV, then this may be the vehicle for you.
