BASE jumping, free-climbing and sky-diving are some of the most extreme sports you can do to get your adrenaline pumping, but even these radical pastimes seem tame when compared to the heart-rate ramping rush from this ballistic Caterham Seven 620R.
Our Specialist RS3 Stock!
Get ready for an adrenaline-fuelled driving experience like no other with the Audi RS3…
Under the classic Seven styling lies a manic Supercharged 2.0-litre Duratec engine developing 310bhp and 297NM of torque, which may not sound much when compared to the outputs of many modern hot hatches or sports cars, but when you factor in the 620R’s anorexic 545kg dry weight, it equates to a hypercar trouncing power-to-weight figure of 568bhp-per-tonne, which is more than most multi-million pound monsters such as the Bugatti Veyron and McLaren F1!
Capable of completing the 0-60mph sprint in just 2.79 seconds, there is simply no faster way to travel for the money, and this perfectly presented Danish Blue example, offered in track-ready R-specification, represents the most hardcore, road-legal Caterham ever made.
This extreme machine does away with creature comforts such as a heater and windscreen, as well as a roof and doors for that matter, but this just adds to the thrill, especially as this stunning specimen has also been equipped with almost £15,000 of additional factory options to turn the experience up to eleven.
The £8,000 R pack adds a host of circuit-slaying upgrades to the 620’s flyweight mix, including a rifle-bolt six-speed sequential transmission with titan limited-slip differential, motorsport race-tuned Bilstein suspension, 13in Apollo lightweight wheels with super sticky Avon ZZR tyres, dry-sump oil lubrication, a carbon-fibre nose-cone with aerodynamic flicks, carbon-fibre wheel arches and dashboard, and a pair of hip-hugging carbon-fibre bucket seats with four-point race harnesses and a detachable Momo steering wheel.
On top of the R-specification is £6,700 of factory extras including a carbon-fibre package that adds aero deflector, rear view mirror, side mirrors, headlight bowls and indicator pods in the lightweight weave, as well as a special lowered floor, a track day roll bar, sequential shift lights and a screaming Caterham side-exit exhaust system.
Having covered only 6,600 miles from new with full Caterham and specialist service history and just two previous keepers, this incredible track day toy is offered in pristine condition with an additional defensive layer of paint protection film applied to the impact areas of the nose cone, wheel arches and side panels.
This exquisite condition will be amplified prior to sale with over 40 hours of meticulous preparation from our in-house professional detailers including multi-stage paint correction to ensure a truly incomparable finish before delivery to its new owner.
